Saga launches new tours for solo travellers
Saga has created small group adventures for solo travellers.
The over-50s specialist said the new tours should appeal to more than a fifth of its clients who are single travellers.
The solo holidays are for groups of up 20 guests and include a chauffeur service from airport.
Tours include a safari in South Africa’s Kruger National Park, island hopping in the Caribbean and a cultural tour of Sri Lanka.
The operator revealed this week that its profits last year were boosted by a rise in the number of older holidaymakers travelling further and spending more.
