Sail Croatia hails 50% growth in UK bookings

Sail Croatia has reported a near-50% increase in UK bookings for 2023, compared to the same period in 2019.

The demand has been seen across the majority of the small ship operator’s itineraries

The largest spike in bookings has been for Explorer Cruises, which have increased by over 130%.

The sailings are aimed at travellers in their 20s and 30s as well as the ‘young at heart’.

Elegance Cruises, the line’s luxury sailings, have had a44% uplift, while Cycling Cruises are up 35%.

Grant Seuren, Sail Croatia director, said: “We’ve seen fantastic interest from the UK. There is clear pent-up demand from the past few years, with travellers booking earlier than ever before.”

“Our luxury and active sailings are proving particularly popular and we anticipate this trend is only going to continue.”

Sail Croatia has over 430 small ship departures available next year, from April through to October
