SalamAir marks nine years of flying
Oman based LCC SalamAir is celebrating its 9th anniversary of bringing low coast air travel to the Sultanate.
In 2025, SalamAir operated more than 22,000 flights and carried over 3.4 million passengers on a network spanning 44 destinations.
The airline now operates a fleet of 15 aircraft.
Looking ahead, plans for 2026 include the addition of three new aircraft, scheduled for delivery in May, June, and September.
The airline recently launched new routes to Port Sudan, Damascus, Vienna and Medan, Indonesia with further new destinations planned during 2026.
“As we mark nine years, we thank our passengers and partners for their continued trust as we expand our network, enhance our product, and deliver strong value in the market,” SalamAir CEO, Adrian Hamilton-Manns, said.
“This milestone reflects the commercial strength, agility, and dedication of our team, and reinforces our focus on profitable growth.”
