SAS appoints new business sales manager
Institute of Travel Management general manager Anne Deamer has left to join Scandinavian airline SAS as business sales manager.
She replaces Jo Ashman who retired after more than 40 years with the airline.
Deamer will take responsibility for managing and developing the relationship between SAS and its corporate customers and travel management companies, said the airline.
At the Institute of Travel Management she was responsible for managing the association’s education and training programmes and developing the ITM Academy.
She has also spent over 20 years with British Airways in a variety of senior roles covering sales, operations, training, marketing and e-commerce. She has also spent some time in the rail industry as head of distribution at the Association of Train Operating Companies and was a regional manager for Virgin Trains.
Deamer will report to Hans Dyhrfort, regional manager SAS UK & Ireland.
