Saudi Arabia restarts Thailand flights after more than 30 years

Thailand has welcomed its first direct flight from Saudi Arabia for over three decades. Following the return of diplomatic ties between the two countries, national carrier Saudia started flying three times a week from Riyadh.
When the summer schedule kicks in on March 27, Saudia will also fly four times weekly from Jeddah. Thailand is hopeful 200,000 Saudis will visit this year.
