Scantours collapses

Long established Scandinanvian specialist operator Scantours has collapsed.
ABTA said the London-based company has ceased trading and is unable to meet its liabilities.
The company also used the following trading names: Scantours, Brief Encounters, Iceland Adventures, Scandinavian Holidays, ScanMeridian, Summer Adventures, Travel Scandinavia, Winter Adventures.
Any non-licensable package claims arising from this failure will be handled by ABTA’s claims handling partner CEGA.
Any claims for principal business where air travel is included will be handled by the Civil Aviation Authority.
