SeeYourTravelAgent brings agents face to face with their customers via Skype

Sunday, 03 Aug, 2011 0

http://www.seeyourtravelagent.com is released to the trade this week

Our mission: To allow anyone with a web cam to have a face to face private chat with their travel agent and arrange a holiday, without travelling to the high street.

The site uses Skype video chat instead of the phone to engage the customer in a personal way and make lead conversion much more likely.
Agents register free and choose up to five categories of expertise by destination and trip type.
After a completely free period we will introduce a charge to the agents of ‘pay per lead’.
Each time anyone clicks on an agent’s Skype link or their contact details, it will register a click.
Agents purchase clicks to remain on the site and they can stop/start their listing as required.

It is especially aimed at forward thinking independent agents and homeworkers.

The UK public launch will be in late September when it is hoped to have around 100 agents on the site.
