Shanghai Disneyland offering season passes

Sunday, 02 Nov, 2016 0
Frequent visitors to Shanghai Disneyland will soon be able to snap up a limited time season pass.

After attendance numbers settled down following its highly publicised grand opening period, Disney has decided to offer a five-month season pass.

But the catch is it is only available to purchase on one day – the so-called ‘Singles Day’ on November 11, which is the biggest online shopping day of the year.

The pass will be valid for unlimited entries by the same named guest between November 12  and March 31, 2016.

The passes, comprising three different tiers depending on the day of the week, are avialble at Disney’s branded webshop on the Alitrip platform.

The passes cost $105 for admission on Sundays only, $120 for any weekday, and $164 for any day of the week.

Visitors can reserve their pass with a deposit from now, and have to pay the remaining balance by November 11.

"Many have complained that one day is not enough for them to experience the magic of Disneyland," said Philippe Gas, Shanghai Disneyland general manager.

"Since it opened in June, Shanghai Disneyland has received 97.1% positive feedback and some online subscribers have visited seven times."
