Shaquille O’Neal helms Carnival Cruise Line’s new campaign as ‘CFO’
NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal has a new job.
Shaq has been appointed by Carnival Cruise Line as its new ‘CFO.’
However he won’t be crunching numbers for the cruise line as this CFO position is ‘Chief Fun Officer’ as part of its new ‘Choose Fun’ brand campaign.
Shaq’s brand ambassador role is showcased through video content and social media, which started with a 30-second video tour of Carnival Vista, highlighting its many attractions including SkyRide, Havana pool, Cloud 9 Spa and a game of basketball aboard the ship.
"We are very excited to have Shaq as part of the Carnival team. He will serve as a great partner ensuring everyone knows all about our one-of-a-kind brand of fun," said Carnival President Christine Duffy.
"We’re confident that his embodiment of our brand values will inspire America to Choose Fun and discover the authentic and social atmosphere that Carnival offers."
O’Neal says he is delighted to team up with the Carnival Cruise Line, a company that ‘lives and breathes fun.’
