Silver Airways adds more Florida flights
Silver Airways is adding more Florida flights with the start of a new daily nonstop service from Key West International Airport to Orlando.
Service will begin on June 12 and Silver will continue to offer its existing one-stop and connecting flights on the same route.
Silver also announced special introductory fares between Key West and Orlando from $99 one way including taxes and fees, available for booking until April 20.
Silver has more intra-Florida services than any other airline and operates 450 flights a week between 10 Sunshine State destinations including Pensacola, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Key West.
It also has over 200 services a week between Florida and the Bahamas.
The airline recently announced it was cutting some routes from is network including Atlanta to concentrate on more profitable core markets.
Announcing the new Orlando-Key West service, Vice President of Network Planning Jamie Kogutek said: These new flights also offer even greater connectivity to and from destinations beyond Florida through our codeshare partnership with United and our many interline airline partners."
Silver Airways also has codeshare partnerships with JetBlue, Delta and recently announced an alliance with Japan’s All Nippon Airways.
