‘Six-star’ hotel to open in Perth
Australia-based Crown Resorts is to develop a ‘six star’ luxury hotel in Perth to open in 2016.
The Crown Towers Perth will have around 500 rooms and will be on the Crown Perth complex, which already has two hotels, a casino, conference centre, shops and restaurants.
It will be the largest hotel in Perth and will increase hotel room capacity at Crown Perth to nearly 1,200 rooms.
Crown Towers Perth will also have VIP gaming salons, restaurants, bars, resort and convention facilities.
The total investment in the Crown Towers project, including the land, is expected to be AU$568 million.
"The new hotel comes at a time when Perth and Western Australia are in desperate need of additional luxury hotel and short term accommodation to satisfy the demands of business travellers and tourists and will put Perth firmly back on the map for leisure travellers seeking exclusive, resort-style experiences," said the group in a statement.
Crown has a similar resort in Melbourne, with over 1,600 hotel rooms, spas, pools, retail, restaurants, a convention centre, casino and live entertainment.
