Ski Freshtracks offers packages for kids to burn up the slopes

Monday, 26 Oct, 2007 0

Ski Freshtracks offer family ski holidays during the peak periods of New Year, Half Term and Easter to ten snow sure resorts in France, Austria and Switzerland. Each holiday is run using a special formula ensuring perfect family holidays for parents that have children aged 6yrs+ who can whizz about the mountain already and only want a small amount of instruction from qualified instructors or none at all.

Children ski in organised groups, headed up by Ski Freshtracks leaders*. Parents are then free to ski with other parents, ski with the Rep or join the children’s groups at their pace. The leaders also organise apres-ski activities if required.

These unique family holidays are run in Flaine, Argentiere and La Plagne in France; Davos, Grindelwald, Les Diablerets and Klosters in Swizterland and Kitzbuhel and Obergurgl in Austria. At both New Year and Half Term in La Plagne there is the chance for children to have some local ski instruction.

There are also family off-piste weeks in Klosters and Argentiere where the holidays are uniquely designed to allow both parents and children to ski off-piste with mountain guides for five full days.

For older children, aged 14-19 yrs, Ski Freshtracks offer two ‘Under 20s’ trips to Tignes: 15-22 December 2007 – the snow is already falling so conditions are looking excellent for early season skiing – and 5-12 April 2008.

Ski Freshtracks leaders accompany the teenagers on and off the snow (parents stay at home) on these holidays making sure they get the most out of the vast skiing area of Tignes during the daytime and the apres-ski activities afterwards. Prices from £495 including flights, transfer and chalet accommodation.

For full information and prices visit http://www.skifreshtracks.co.uk/. Availabilty on all weeks.
