Skyscanner partners with house-sitting site
Fare comparison site Skyscanner has partnered with house and pet sitting website TrustedHousesitters to give its 500,000 worldwide members easy access to flights.
By using the site’s new TravelFinder feature, powered by Skyscanner, its members in 140 countries can check live airfares during the process of applying for a house sit.
TrustedHousesitters chief marketing officer Jess Stephens said: "Thousands of flights are booked each week as a direct result of TrustedHousesitters, so we wanted to find a partner who could help our members find the best possible fares at the earliest opportunity.
"TravelFinder from TrustedHousesitters is an instant way to calculate the cost of flights and work out a travel budget, helping more people to plan more house sits all year round."
Mike Ferguson, senior commercial manager at Skyscanner, added: "We are always keen to partner with innovative and forward-thinking companies to provide our cutting-edge flight search tools.
"Skyscanner powers travel search for over 1000 businesses globally through our White Label and API products, and we’re delighted to be providing TrustedHouseSitters’s users with the ability to search for their flights as they apply for house sits all over the world."
