Snow disrupts flights at Leeds Bradford
Passengers flying from Leeds Bradford Airport have been warned to expect delays this morning after it was forced to close the runway due to heavy snowfall.
The runway was due to re-open at around 09:00, but several flights scheduled to depart before 09:25 were cancelled and others are expected to be delayed.
The airport, which was blanketed in 5cms of snow this morning, said passengers should contact their airlines for further information and allow extra time travelling to the airport.
