Solo Vacations unveils new tours, cruises
Following its launch into the US market earlier this year, Solo Vacations is expanding its solo tour portfolio for Americans, with new escorted tours to Europe, Asia and South America.
The company has also launched new cruises including an epic 120-day round-the-world cruise. Departing the Caribbean, it sails along the Panama Canal to the Far East and Indian Ocean, the Holy Land and the Mediterranean.
Solo Vacations is offering an early bird rate of $21,805 per passenger when booked by July 31, 2015, instead of the published rate of $36,107.
Other cruises include nine-day sailings in Scandinavia and Northern Europe.
New Solo Vacations land tours include Japan, the Norwegian Fjords, Tuscany and a 12-day ‘Ecuador & Galapagos Islands’ tour.
An offshoot of UK-based tour operator Solos Holidays, the company launched this year in the US, aiming to tap the growing US market for solo trips.
Nearly one quarter of people travelled alone on their most recent overseas vacation, according to the 2015 Visa Global Travel Intentions Survey.
Solo Vacations also said it is continuing to engage more US travel trade partners, offering 10% commission on trips sold through agents.
