Southwest inks transatlantic partnership with Turkish Airlines
Southwest Airlines has announced another airline partnership to further expand its global network coverage.
It is teaming up with Turkish Airlines in a new transatlantic partnership set to commence in January 2026.
This will enable travellers to book through-ticket transatlantic journeys between the US and Istanbul.
It allows for seamless one-stop connections across both airlines’ networks.
Tickets will be available through Turkish Airlines’ travel agents and websites next year.
Turkish Airlines’ travellers to the US can book through tickets to ten destinations via Southwest services.
Andrew Watterson, Chief Operating Officer of Southwest Airlines, said: “We’re grateful for this new relationship that will usher thousands of international travellers each week.”
This tie-up is the sixth airline partnership with international airlines announced this year.
Star Alliance carrier Turkish Airlines flies to more countries than any other airline.
