Sovereign has expanded its long-haul product, offering holidays to Thailand and Bali for the first time and more choice in the Indian Ocean, Caribbean and Dubai for 2016.

It will offer almost twice as many holidays to the Caribbean next year and at the same time it has more than doubled the size of its programme to the Indian Ocean and Mexico.

It has also introduced new European hotels and added two new collections: Hotels Villas and Family Suites.

The programme will feature 326 properties in 19 destinations worldwide.

Managing director Stephanie Pritchard said: "We are incredibly excited to present our new long haul programme, which includes hand-picked luxury hotels from high-end brands that incorporate the quality and excellent service that Sovereign is well known for.

"Long haul destinations are perfect for year-round travel, and we wanted to be able to give our customers more choice and flexibility to find their perfect luxury holiday."

In Thailand, Sovereign is offering 27 hotels in Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Khao Lak and Bangkok. In Bali, it is featuring 11 hotels in Seminyak, Nusa Dua and Jimbaran as well as Ubud in the uplands of the island
