Special fare to launch Garuda’s new service from Sydney to Bali
Garuda Indonesia has announced a special fare to celebrate the launch of their new service between Sydney and Bali, starting on the 20th of June, with the new service, GA717, departing on a Wednesday at 10.00hrs, arriving in Bali at 14.25hrs, bringing the total number of services between Sydney and Bali to five non stop flights per week with departures daily, except Tuesday and Friday.
The inbound flight, GA716, leaves Bali early hours of Wednesday morning at 0100hrs and arrives the same day at 0830hrs.
Packages featuring the new promotional airfare, and including 4 nights share twin accommodation plus transfers in Bali, will lead in at $649 per person, plus taxes, which Garuda says provides a saving of $150 off the cheapest year round package price.
The air fare only will be $599 return, plus taxes and normal seasonal surcharges will apply.
To take advantage of these savings, passengers must depart on the new Wednesday service, but can return on any day.
Travel is valid from 20 June to 12 December 2007 but passengers travelling on this special fare must be booked, paid and ticketed by 15 June07.
“The introduction of the new service will result in a doubling of capacity from Sydney since the end of March which, along with recent capacity increases from Perth and Melbourne, put Garuda Indonesia in a good position to handle the increasing demand for Bali,” said Garuda Regional General Manager, Southwest Pacific, Mr. Suranto Yitnopawiro.
