Special rate introduced by Brittany Ferries

Saturday, 18 Jan, 2006 0

A special one-way fare of £55 is being offered by Brittany Ferries on the Poole-Cherbourg route.

The tariff covers two adults in a car staying five days or less in France for travel until April 12. For longer stays the equivalent low season rate is £85 for midweek travel.

The Poole-Cherbourg route is the company’s shortest and fastest route to western France.

The leading western channel ferry operator, which runs extensive tour operations to both France and Spain, unveiled the deal as part of promotional activity designed to encourage more people to take self-drive breaks in France in 2006.
