SpiceJet flight chaos over ransomware attack
Indian budget airline SpiceJet said a ransomware attack on its systems was the cause of flight chaos. “It had a cascading effect on our flights leading to delays,” the airline tweeted.
The airline says the issue has been fixed and flights were operating normally. The disruption left hundreds of passengers stranded across the country.
Many flights were grounded or delayed by several hours
SpiceJet is currently working closely with cybercrime investigators.
