Still dreaming at Disney
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts plans to extend its “Year of a Million Dreams,” according to information sent to annual pass-holders.
The popular program — which includes daily prize giveaways awarded randomly — has been credited with increasing attendance at all of the Walt Disney Company parks since it debuted last October.
No specific details were released but speculation was that there will be some new tweaks to the program, said the Orlando Business Journal.
The various “dream” programs included a variety of activities such as leading a parade or staying in the Mickey Mouse Penthouse Suite in California or the Cinderella Castle Suite in Walt Disney World in Orlando.
Other prizes included Disney Vacation Club membership, shopping sprees, special access to after-hour park activities and exclusive trading pins.
