Suburban Chicago Visitors Guide
The DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced the release of its 2008-2009 DuPage Visitors Guide. The redesigned publication provides travelers with everything they need to know for a trip to DuPage County, Illinois.
The guide includes detailed information on accommodations, attractions, shopping, dining, sports & recreation, services, transportation, and events in the DuPage area.
Just a few miles west of downtown Chicago, DuPage County offers the best of both worlds – the urban excitement of a major metropolitan area combined with the charm of suburban living and acres of forest preserves. DuPage County is the second most populous county in Illinois after Cook County, which borders it to the north and east. Together, the two counties account for half of the state’s population.
One of the nation’s wealthiest counties, DuPage is rich in commerce and second only to Cook in tourism revenue. With its well-developed highway and mass transit system, DuPage is easily accessible from both O’Hare and Midway airports.
To request a copy of the new DuPage Visitors Guide, contact the DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau at 800-232.0502 or visit www.discoverdupage.com.
