Summer at Picturesque Falls Creek is a Family Affair
Falls Creek Alpine Resort is particularly family-friendly from Boxing Day to Sunday Jan 14, 2006 due to its Summer Kids Club, which operates throughout the peak Summer Holiday period.
Whilst the picturesque alpine resort is a good alternative to the crowded, hotter coastal resorts, which many families will venture to after Christmas Day, the array of activities planned by the coordinators of the Falls Creek Summer Kids Club will pleasantly surprise its guests (and their active young offspring).

The cost of the activities offered by Falls Creek Summer Kids Club is either no charge, or in some cases a nominal fee of AUD$5, and the cost of apartment-style accommodation or a quintessential Falls Creek ski lodge, is considerably less than it costs to stay at Falls Creek in the snowy, winter season.
Youngsters will be stimulated by suitably qualified staff who run the Kids Club daily throughout the holidays, from December 26 – Jan 14, 2006.
Their young ‘creative minds’ will be enhanced by the opportunity to take part in an Alpine Village Ramble (with a very interesting eco-guide), fun painting, throwing a frisbee, yummy cooking, or cooking healthy after school snacks.
Lots of other ‘free’ options in this popular natural theme park include a self-guided tour of the alpine resort, discovering crystal-clear streams and lakes, walking amongst the wildflowers, and exploring the historic High Country huts in the Alpine National Park (Victoria’s largest) which butts on to Falls Creek Alpine Resort.
