A service to Düsseldorf from Edinburgh are being introduced by Lufthansa this summer.
And a second daily flight to Frankfurt is being reinstated.
The airline will fly six times a week to Düsseldorf from April 26 offering up to 70 seats in a two class configuration.
UK and Ireland general manager Marianne Sammann said: “This reaffirms Lufthansa’s commitment to our customers in Scotland and our belief that the recent economic issues that have particularly affected business travel are starting to subside.
“By introducing the six times a week summer service to Düsseldorf we will be offering a daily link to and from Scotland during the peak holiday months when our Saturday service between Inverness and Düsseldorf also operates between June 5 and September 11.”
One way fares to Düsseldorf start at £49.
