Survey reveals most important element for British skiers

Monday, 16 Feb, 2018 0

Two-thirds of British skiers say that apres ski is their favourite part of the day, according to specialist Club Med.

However, 30% also like to go for a swim when they’re in the mountains and 37% use a sauna or steam room after a day on the slopes.

According to Club Med’s latest ‘Mapping Ski Trends’ report, 67% of British skiers head to the bar when they’ve finished skiing.

Afternoon tea is also a tradition in the mountains, and Club Med said 38% looked forward to the tasty treats provided as standard on its holidays.

More unusual apres ski activities available on Club Med holidays in Asia include acrobatic lessons at the Yabuli resort in China and drinking cocktails from an ice glass at the bar of the Ice Village in Tomamu-Hokkaido, Japan.
