TAG sets up Hong Kong operation
Travel and event management company TAG, formerly known as The Appointment Group, has opened an operation in Hong Kong as a gateway to the Chinese market.
Shane Barr, managing director of Asia-Pacific, said "Asia is currently one of the most dynamic and exciting regions in the business world, having a presence in Hong Kong provides the perfect stepping stone into the booming Chinese market.
"Our new partnership will strengthen TAG’s visibility in the region and allow us to offer a premium level of service to our growing client base travelling and doing business across Asia."
Daniel Price, group corporate director, added: "Combined with an offering on the West Coast of the United States and Australia,~this will allow us to extend our TAGAnalytics and strategic account management to Hong Kong and global clients along with access to local airline content with that TAG white glove client service".
TAG opened an office in Australia in 2013 and in Singapore in 2015.
