Taiwan Tourism showcases natural attractions at World Travel Expo
Taiwan Tourism has embarked on a road trip across eastern Australia to showcase the many facets of Taiwan, especially its natural beauty.
It kicked off the World Travel Expo in Sydney on February 1-2, and is also presenting Taiwan’s tourism highlights at World Travel Expo events in Melbourne on February 8 and 9, and in Brisbane from February 15-16.
The Expo is a nationwide series of consumer travel fairs offering a one-stop event for travel inspiration, and catering to every travel style and budget.
Taiwan’s natural attractions are being heavily promoted, particularly with 2020 designated as Taiwan’s Year of Mountain Tourism.
The island is dotted with the soaring peaks of the Central Range, the Xueshan Range, the Yushan Range, the Alishan Range and the Coastal Range, while the Suhua Highway scenic route is a must for an island road trip, Taiwan Tourism says.
Other highlights on show include Taiwan’s extensive variety of springs, comprising freshwater and seabed hot springs, cold springs, and mud springs.
Up for grabs are exclusive World Travel Expo fare deals to Taiwan for visitors attending the stand at AU$939 for Economy Class, Premium Economy from AU$1679 and Business Class from AU$3,179 return through Taiwan Tourism’s partner, China Airlines.
