Talking bra promotes tourism
Lingerie maker Triumph unveiled a bra that talks and tries to sell tourism in Japan.
The “Welcome to Japan bra” is modeled after a tour conductor’s uniform. It has three gold buttons which blast out welcoming messages in English, Chinese and Korean when pressed.
The bra has removable push-up pads that are tiny plush versions of the country’s most famous tourist attractions, such as Mount Fuji and Sensoji Temple’s Kaminarimon gate in Asakusa.
It also comes with a matching wraparound miniskirt that has a map of Japan on the backside.
“And here is when it all makes sense: in a fantasy situation, the tour conductor wearing the bra would pluck out the removable pads from the cups and stick it on the fabric map to indicate to her audience where the landmarks are. Cheeky,” says CNN.
The bra is not for sale commercially.
