Police are appealing for information after the death of a taxi driver in a car park at Manchester Airport.
They say two men, aged 55 and 26, have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and remain in custody for questioning.
The incident happened shortly after 8.25am on Friday when police were called to reports of an assault at a car park at Terminal 2.
A 57-year-old taxi driver was taken to hospital where he sadly died.
Detective chief inspector Carl Jones, of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: "We have specially trained officers supporting the man’s family at what is understandably an incredibly difficult time and our thoughts remain with them.
"We have two men in custody but our investigation is still in its very early stages. Several witnesses are currently helping us with our enquiries."
