Teletext’s repositioning from analogue to digital will be underlined in a new TV ad campaign to be aired over the next three weeks.
Its theme will be “the best holiday of your life” and will show a montage of people’s favourite holiday memories from across the decades.
The pay off line is: “We were there then and we’re here now with a brand new website, Freeview channel and mobile apps. So that you can have the best holidays of your life.”
Teletext Holidays marketing director Mark Bloxham said: “This is the first time we’ve had a television advertising campaign for several years and it’s a fresh new creative which aims to show that the brand has been re-booted – it cleverly gives a nod to the heritage and warmth customers have of Teletext Holidays and how it’s been integral to the best holidays of our lives.”
Social media will continue the message at the end of January, when Teletext will ask people to send in their favourite holiday clips with the incentive of a prize holiday and the chance to feature in the summer TV campaign.
