Teletext Holidays boss quits for Travelzest

Fast growing Travelzest has recruited Teletext Holidays’ managing director Nishma Patel.

She joins the group in April to work alongside chief executive Chris Mottershead.

Patel will be involved in building Travelzest as a new travel group focused on high quality brands offering specialist travel services, a statement said.

She has been with Teletext for more than 10 years and joins from Teletext Holidays, a subsidiary of Daily Mail publisher Associated Newspapers.

Mottershead, formerly boss of TUI UK, described Patel as “one of the most impressive and dynamic individuals” in the industry.

He added: “I am thrilled that she has agreed to join us and believe that the wealth of experience and expertise she has will be invaluable. Travelzest is only at the beginning of its journey and Nishma’s appointment will help take it on to the next stage.”

Travelzest brands include VFB Holidays, Holiday Express and Best of Morocco.
