Tenerife has a strong May
UK arrivals to Tenerife jumped 14% in May.
Latest figures from the Tenerife Tourism Corporation show 136,846 arrivals from the UK, the destination’s biggest source market.
From January to May 2013, the Canary island received a total of 630,418 Brits, up 1.8% on 2012 figures.
The south of the island continues to be the most popular hotspot for UK holidaymakers with a total of 133,755 arrivals.
But other areas, such as the capital Santa Cruz and the north of Tenerife, have also seen a increase in tourism figures in May of +27.3% and +2.3% respectively.
