Tennis ace Roger Federer becomes face of Switzerland Tourism
Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer has become an official brand ambassador for Switzerland Tourism. The 20-time Grand Slam champ says he has been representing the country on the court since turning pro and this official designation as brand ambassador is a ‘logical step.’
"There is no place like home – that is why I am happy to team up with @myswitzerland and show everyone how I get energized by Swiss nature," Federer said in an Instagram post.
Using Federer as the public face of Switzerland, the tourism department will roll out promotional activities starting in European cities, followed by the US and Asia Pacific.
