Thai Airways teams up with Hilton for passenger perks
Thai Airways International has inked a partnership with Hilton to offer customers in-hotel perks during their travels.
The companies signed a memorandum of understanding which enables THAI fliers to avail discounts for dining and spas at Hilton hotels in Thailand when they show their boarding passes.
It is available for the airline’s domestic and international customers.
It is valid at Hilton brand properties including Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit, Millennium Hilton Bangkok and Conrad Koh Samui.
The promotion will initially run until the end of 2019.
"This partnership is the first step in our long-term cooperation to enhance the tourism experience for both business and leisure groups," said Heidi Kleine-Moeller, general manager of Millennium Hilton Bangkok.
The airline also partnered with the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau to promote the ASEAN MaxiMICE campaign which offers special fares and perks for MICE travellers from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
According to Siriphong Mangkalee, the airline’s director of ASEAN sales, ASEAN market growth will be up about 3% this year despite intense competition in the low cost sector.
