The fastest, most stylish way to travel to the Alps

Private jet hire company Victor is offering skiers the chance to fly by private charter to resorts in Europe without it costing a fortune.

It has launched a ‘Ski Club’ where skiers can group together to share the cost of a charter, making travel to the mountains more accessible and affordable.

Using the Victor website, members register their interest in preferred routes and dates and set ‘group alerts to friends and other Victor members to share a charter. So far, Victor has 2,577 members.

As an example of cost, travel from Stansted to Sion, which is just a 30-minute drive from the resort of Verbier, starts at £1,350 per person return, based on eight sharing a King Air turboprop.

Victor has partnered with luxury ski operator The Oxford Ski Company to offer three nights in Verbier from £1,958 per person, including luxury hotel accommodation.

It claims to be the only company to offer skiers the chance to buy individual seats on private jets rather than whole-plane charters. It will accept bookings from travel agents
