The Mole works!

It is always highly reassuring and exciting to find travel agents that use articles in TravelMole to inform clients about destinations or about issues in various countries around the globe!

Congratulations to Helen Altit of Jetset Rose Bay, who proved that she cares for her clients and uses The Mole sensibly – and how do I know, well read on because on The Mole’s fairly recent post coup trip to Fiji, The Mole obtained hard evidence of her skills and this innovative use of TravelMole in reassuring her clients to travel to Fiji!

A Golden Mole Award is on its way to Helen – congratulations!

So, on with the story!

When sitting on the Air Pacific flight back to Sydney after The Mole’s whistlestop tour of Fijian resorts, The Mole bumped into Eastern Suburbs Sydneysiders Fran and Laurie Fisher [Pictured] and their three children who were on their way back from what they described as a fabulous family holiday at the Hilton, which they took right after the coup in January.

During their chat with The Mole Laurie asked what I did and when I explained about TravelMole Fran said that was amazing as she knew what TravelMole was as Helen, their travel agent had read out sections of stories from TravelMole to Fran and Laurie to reassure them that all was OK in Fiji and that they would have no trouble at all on their holiday!

Fran and Laurie also said, “After hearing about the material on TravelMole, we did not think of cancelling and we also know and trust Helen so she would not advise us to go somewhere that was unsafe, in particular with a young family, but also getting the information from TravelMole also provided that final reassurance.”

They added, “Everything looked calm and settled and as we are from South Africa we are used to some troubles, but there was nothing to concern us in Fiji, so off we went and we and Helen were proved right!”

They also said, “We did not see anything of any concern whatsoever in Fiji while we were there, we all had a really great time at the Hilton, in particular the kids with the great kids programmes and activities, which also gave us some time to ourselves.”

They also said, “We think that the biggest danger in Fiji was being hit by a falling coconut!”

In closing, as we arrived in Sydney they both said that there was no doubt whatsoever that “Bula” was a greeting that was genuine and has not changed in Fiji, with Fijians deserving our support in their peaceful country.”

So guys, if you want to use material in TravelMole at any time to reassure your clients or provide them with destination or issue information – go for it – it is what we are here for!
