The Whitsundays Win “Best Island Experience”

The Whitsundays region has been selected as winner of Australia’s Best Island Experience in Travelling in Australia Magazine’s 20 Best Experience Awards.

As judged by an international panel of Premier Aussie Specialists, this award is significant recognition of the diverse range of product and experiences available in the Whitsundays.

The 74 Islands of the Whitsundays form the largest offshore island chain on Australia’s coastline and is the closest Queensland coastal region to the Great Barrier Reef. All resorts are situated close to the Great Barrier Reef, Heart Reef and Whitehaven Beach enabling holiday maker’s firsthand experience of these International icons.
