The World’s Largest Loop Roller Coaster to Open at Illinois Amusement Park
The biggest amusement park in Illinois, Six Flags Great America, has just announced that it will be opening the world’s largest ever loop roller coaster in Spring 2018.
At 100 feet tall, the coaster will give riders record hang-time and 360 degree revolutions, whilst the 32 face-off style seats will allow them to see their fellow riders reactions!
This will be Six Flags Great America’s 16th coaster. In August 2017, it launched THE JOKER Free Fly Coaster—featuring the iconic DC Comics super villain. This 4D interactive ride uses cutting-edge technology to deliver unpredictable twists, flips and drops, making each ride a wild, new experience.
Located just one hour outside of downtown Chicago in Gurnee, Ill., Six Flags Great America offers endless adventures for the entire family, including 15 roller coasters, a 20-acre water park, spectacular shows and four kid-themed areas with more than 30 rides. www.sixflags.com
