Thomas Cook brings forward post-Christmas sale
Thomas Cook’s summer season sale has started today, two weeks earlier than the traditional Boxing Day launch.
It has stolen a march on rival TUI, which last year launched its traditional post-Christmas sale on December 12.
Thomas Cook is offering savings of £300 per booking for those who confirm their trips by the end of January.
The new brochures include Thomas Cook’s new hotel concept for hi-tech gadget lovers – SunConnect.
Nine properties are featured which include free wi-fi, browse and book activities on smartphones, ConnectTeen lounges and a ConnectBar with docking stations.
Thomas Cook is using the five hotel concepts to differentiate properties across its 16 brochures.
Sentido Hotel & Resorts aimed at upmarket couples, singles and small families features eight new resorts.
There are also 26 new hotels in the Smartline concept appealing to families and groups looking for value for money.
Sunprime Hotels – aimed at adults – features the Sunprime Numa Beach in Turkey for the first time and Sunwing Family Resorts are flagged up for their emphasis on family entertainment.
Uli Sperl, product and yield director at Thomas Cook, said: "We have listened to our customers and understand the importance of individual holiday preferences.
"Furthermore, our offering has been categorised according to whether the customer focus is adult or family, to make the decision-making process much clearer and easier."
