Thomas Cook names new marketing director
Thomas Cook UK & Ireland has appointed Mike Hoban to the new position of director of marketing, brand and customer insight.
Hoban will join on 1st October and will be based in the UK’s Peterborough office.
He was previously at confused.com and has also held senior marketing and customer insight positions with WH Smith, British Airways and Barclaycard.
Thomas Cook UK CEO for mainstream, Ian Ailles, said: "Mike has a strong reputation in his field, having a proven track record of helping companies build and revitalise strong brands and deliver commercial growth through best-practice marketing.
"He is very enthusiastic about taking on this new role and having the opportunity to work with such a strong portfolio of brands and I very much look forward to welcoming him to the team."
