Thomas Cook scooped two prizes in the TravelMole Web Awards, winning Best Airline Site for Thomascookairlines.com and Best Use of Social Media for its Twitter feed ThomasCookCares.
Loveholidays.com beat runners up barrheadtravel.co.uk and the internettraveller.com by more than 900 votes to scoop the title of Best Travel Agent Site.

The awards, which were voted for by the public for the first time, were held at the Werewolf Club in London’s Piccadilly today.
A new prize, the Mole Award, went to Peter Healey, CEO of Vertical Systems, for his 30 years of service to the travel industry.
Thomson.co.uk/blog was named as the Best Travel Blog, while travelzoo.com/uk was considered the Best Travel Directory.
The Best Tour Operator Site was audleytravel.com, while the Best Sports Travel & Tourism Site was judged to be skiweekends.com
Triptoes.com narrowly beat rivals cvvillas.com and worldrainbowshotel.com to claim the title of Best Accommodation Site.
Best Rail Site was railbookers.com, which gained more than twice the number of votes as its closest rivals. Best Travel Recruitment Site jaynepeirce.co.uk gained more than three times the votes as its nearest rival.
Holidaytaxis.com won the miscellaneous category.
Best Car Hire Site was avis.co.uk
Best Cruise/Ferry Site was pocruises.com
Best Responsible Tourism Site was gobarefoot.travel
Best Tourist Board Site visitsuffolk.com.
