Thomson meets today to review swine flu policy

Monday, 05 May, 2009 0

Management at Thomson and First Choice are meeting this morning to decide whether to extend the suspension of flights to Mexico in light of the swine flu outbreak.

At present, they have cancelled outbound flights operating to Cancun and Cozumel up to and including Friday May 8.

A spokeswoman said any changes will be announced later today.

Under the current policy, customers due to travel to Cancun or Cozumel up to and including May 8 will have the option to make a free amendment to their holiday and select a different destination or alternative date up to the same value already booked.

Alternatively, customers will also have the option to cancel their holiday and receive a full refund without incurring any cancellation charge.

Those customers due to travel between May 9 to May 22 inclusive will have the option to make a free amendment to their holiday and select a different destination or alternative date up to the same value already booked.
