Tiger shows its claws with zero-dollar fares

SINGAPORE – Tiger Airways Singapore has launched more then 20,000 free seats to 15 destinations from its Singapore hub.

The sale ends tomorrow, December 19, with the travel period extending from January 7- March 31 2008.

Destinations include: Bangkok, Chiangmai, Krabi, Phuket, Guangzhou, Haikou, Xiamen, Kochi, Chennai, Manila (Clark), Darwin, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Padang and Macau-Clark.

All fares are exclusive of taxes and fees. Travel periods vary by destination.

Chief commercial and marketing officer Rosalynn Tay said, “Tiger Airways has proved itself to be the true low fare airline once again with this innovative offer of $0 fares.

“With more than 20,000 seats available at $0 across 15 destinations for its Singapore-based operations, there’s no better time to book for affordable travel within South East Asia and South China.”
