TMS launches Australian industry salary survey
SYDNEY – TMS Asia-Pacific has started collating data for its fourth annual Australian Travel and Hospitality Industry Salary Survey.
TMS CEO Andrew Chan said the purpose of the annual survey was to be able to provide an overview on Australian industry trends on a year on year basis – irrespective of the environment.
“One of the key elements to keep in mind is the fact that after four years we are now in a strong position to report Australian industry trends on a year on year basis,†he said.
“This is particularly relevant at this moment after having experienced a 12-month period when Australia’s job heavy-candidate light environment and the regional market landscape changed dramatically.
“Coming at this critical moment in time the information the 2009 salary survey will provide can again be considered as being pivotal for the industry.â€
The recruitment specialist is this year inviting input from more than 8,000 respondents, 40 per cent more than in 2008.
These range from company CEOs, managing directors and general managers through to middle management and front line consultants.
Survey results will be released in early February 2010.
The survey, which takes about five minutes to complete, is available on the TMS website – www.tmsap.com.
