Tourism board turns the tables
A tourism board is getting a sneak preview of a new album after commissioning one of its songs.
Kid Rock has released its new album on Michigan.org, featuring the song, ‘Detroit, Michigan’.
The song chronicles many of Detroit’s musical superstars, including Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Bob Seger and George Clinton, as well as icons like Rosa Parks and Henry Ford.
Rebel Soul will be the 9th studio album for the five-time Grammy nominee, Kid Rock.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Kid Rock again to offer his fans and the fans of Pure Michigan the chance to preview ‘Detroit, Michigan’, exclusively on michigan.org," said George Zimmermann, vice president of Travel Michigan, part of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
