Tourism surges again in Japan
The tourism recovery in Japan is finally in full swing.
The number of arrivals in October more than doubled compared to the previous month.
The Japan National Tourism Organization said nearly 500,000 people arrived in October.
Government officials cited the weak yen, and the return of visa waivers.
Independent travel was also allowed again in early October.
South Korea is the top source market at 122,000, followed by Hong Kong.
Japan is set to allow international cruise ship calls soon.
