Tourist beheaded in Philippines
One of three tourists kidnapped from a beach resort in the Philippines has been beheaded by a terrorist group.
The head of Canadian John Ridsdel was found in a street in Jolo town in Sulu province.
He had been taken in September along with two other tourists – one Canadian and a Norwegian – and a Filipino woman from a marina in southern Samal island.
He was murdered by the militants shortly after a deadline for a $6.5 million ransom demanded by his captors, Abu Sayyaf terrorists, had expired.
