Trafalgar has announced the first of a planned range of Super Groups – an exciting new Escape Reader Holiday in partnership with The Sunday Telegraph.

Paul Wiseman, managing director of Trafalgar said, “We are very excited to launch a Unique Escape Reader Holiday with The Sunday Telegraph. It harks back to the days of Trafalgar’s successful newspaper tours of the late 1960s which helped grow Trafalgar’s popularity and profile in the Australian market.

“Trafalgar have been creating and operating special groups with individual agent partners for many years and have a great deal of expertise and experience in this field. This Unique Escape Reader Holiday, which is the first in our Super Group program, is different as it can be sold by all of our agent partners and will have very high visibility in an incredibly high circulating, respected publication.

“The Unique Escape Reader Holiday marks the beginning of an exciting new avenue. We are also working on other Trafalgar Super Groups which will be launched shortly.

“This is a special one off 25 day European tour and river cruise itinerary and is something unique that agents can offer their clients but as there is only one departure clients will need to get in quickly.

“Trafalgar and The Sunday Telegraph will not be taking direct bookings for this holiday. All bookings will be directed to travel agents and the package is commissionable at 10 percent.”

All NSW agents with Trafalgar gradings of AA – C will receive flyers promoting the tour through Templar and the flyer is also available on Trafalgar’s website www.trafalgar.com

The 25 day holiday departs Rome on 10 August and concludes in Frankfurt on 3 September 2006. The holiday includes a 17 day escorted tour which visits Rome, Verona, Prague, Pisa, Venice, Berlin, Florence, Zagreb and Frankfurt and features many two and three night stays; and an eight day river cruise along the legendary Blue Danube stopping at: Budapest, Bratislava, Melk, Vienna, Linz, Durnstein and Passau.

The 25 day holiday is priced from $7699 per person, twin share (land only) and includes: touring by luxury coach; first class accommodation in twin bedded room/cabin with private facilities; the services of a professional tour director and cruise manager; sightseeing, orientation and guided shore excursions; buffet breakfast daily, 19 dinners and eight lunches and airport transfers.

Trafalgar offers a versatile range of holidays designed to suit all tastes and budgets with over 200 itineraries available in the United Kingdom, Europe and Eastern Mediterranean, USA and Canada.
