Trafalgar supports agents with European information Evenings for clients

Trafalgar has announced that it will run a series of free European Information Evenings for consumers around Australia in February 2006.

Paul Wiseman, managing director of Trafalgar said, “Trafalgar is heavily involved in European consumer evenings with local travel agents throughout the Earlybird 1 period in November, these evenings have always been a crucial part of our sales calendar and demand for these remains strong.

“Traditionally we have a series of these evenings in February but in recent years there have been fewer local agents with the time available to organise and host these evenings in February which is why we have decided to introduce the Trafalgar European Information Evenings.

“The Trafalgar European Information Evenings allow our agent partners to offer their clients valuable information about Europe without having to go to the trouble of organising an event themselves –  agents don’t even need to attend the evening themselves.

“We have sent our key agent partners multiple invitations which they can hand out to prospective clients and after the evening attendee details will be forwarded to the agency which referred them to follow through with bookings.

“In appreciation of agents’ support of the Information Evenings Trafalgar will provide agencies with a $50 gift voucher for every booking made as a result of the evening.”

Trafalgar’s European Information Evenings will be hosted by Paul Wiseman, managing director of Trafalgar Australia, and Goran Pilipovic, one of Trafalgar’s top tour directors in Eastern Europe.

For consumer attendees the evenings will feature complimentary canapés and supper, door prizes, cash savings and free offers.
