Travel firm collapses with 1200 abroad
Failed travel agent and tour operator Sun 4 U had about 1,200 clients on holiday, mainly in Spain, when it collapsed earlier this week, said ABTA.
It is advising customers who booked an ATOL package with the company to contact the Civil Aviation Authority for assistance.
Customers who booked holidays through Sun 4 U’s calls centre should contact the supplier named on their invoice, said ABTA.
The Birmingham-based holiday firm employed about 40 staff at its calls centre. It traded under several names including Golden Sun 4 U, OnTheCaseHolidays.co.uk, FlyBeachSun.co.uk and BonusBreakaways.com.
